Our product of the month is the tesa Uk adhesive promoters
Following on from some in house training with our sales department from tesa we thought it would be a good idea to make you aware of the full range, most applications require cleaning/degreasing/prepping before an adhesive can be applied which sometimes doesn’t happen and can be subject to cohesion failures, not necessarily adhesion failures
There are 4 main promoters tesa offer:
- Adhesion Promoter Universal – tesa 60150
- Adhesion Promoter Glass – tesa 60151
- Adhesion Promoter PU – tesa 60152
- Adhesive Promoter Fast Cure – tesa 60153
It does what is says on the tin!!..

We’d like to share some words with you on our award of Supplier Partnership Status from a long serving customer to Kingdom following on from a recent extensive internal audit, outstanding performance and review, alongside a programme of sustainable improvements.
“The MPL award of Supplier Strategic Partnership Status to Kingdom Industrial Supplies Ltd is truly well deserved. Kingdom have been operating at a significantly high customer service level, sustainably, for the last year, which solidifies the strong relationship we have been building over the last 3 years. This award recognises the fact that Kingdom are a “low maintenance” supplier who have achieved an MPL Monthly Scorecard result of >95% consistently over an on-going period. As one of the UK’s largest converter and supplier of Double-Sided Adhesive Tapes, Hook & Loop and Magnetic Material to a wealth of different industries deriving mainly from the UK but also into Europe, we have expanded our production and storage facilities to almost double what they were originally
Kingdoms financial year runs from July to June, so our year end has just been and we are pleased to share with you that Kingdom has grown again
The acquisition of new facilities, next to our existing buildings, over the last 12 months has allowed us to increase our stock levels, in-store manufacturing and machinery/cutting equipment.
In addition to this, the growth of the business over the last 5 years has progressively changed, this was highlighted in the re-structure of the business, 2009 involved looking at all aspects of the business and to restructure to accommodate the difficult economic climate at the time, 2010 Director level participation was defined and formally put into place and lastly in 2014 a share holder buyout was concluded, securing a strong and stable future for the company
What makes Kingdom a top supplier is our core values: Quality of products, value for money and, arguably the most important, customer service. We like to work with our customers providing good communication, speedy order processing, and an excellent technical team. All of these are highlighted in our mission statement PROUD
Our customers are extremely important to us and throughout the changes, growth and development of Kingdom you can expect that we will continue to offer the highest level of service possible

Hi everybody! Kingdom like to support local charities/events/clubs
Recently we have supplied our local Football Club with all their janitorial/cleaning products free of charge to help reduce the day to day running costs of the team, here below is a letter of thanks from Paul Walker, Chairman of Woodham Radars FC
It is just 1 month now till Nigel, our Production Manager, banger rally adventure
So far they have raised a total of £549 – without the charity pots which have been circulating around Essex events
Nigel & co need all the help they can get … It’s not to late to donate!
This month we would like to invite you to view our Banner Stiffening Tape, we’ve been supplying and stocking it for some time, it is a very good alternative to the standard way of hemming banners
Banner stiffening tape is a thick white single-sided PVC tape that bonds to the rear of banners, removing the need to fold and stitch the edges when installing eyelets
Standard size we stock is 38mm x 33m – but if you have a requirement for any other sizes please speak to a member of our Sales Team
You may be wondering what the above is … Well…
Monte-Carlo or Bust is a banger rally adventure charity event, as featured in The Sunday Times, on Sky Sports News and also on the BBC (www.montecarloorbustrally.com)
Nigel, our Production Manager, and 2 of his friends are spending three days driving to Monte Carlo in a car that cost less than £300 (a banger you would agree!) whilst raising as much money for their chosen charity of ‘Essex and Hertfordshire Air Ambulance’ just to give you an idea on E & H Air Ambulance, they are a vital life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service and is solely funded by charitable donations. They operate 365 days a year and currently each mission costs around £2700
The event starts on Thursday the 16th July 2015 in Saint Quentin France. After registering, they are heading off to Dijon then on to Turin and finally Monte Carole for the official finish outside the Casino Royale on the 19th July – they will be covering almost 1400 miles in 3 days!! With a few detours on the way for a pit stop (beer)!! The car will then be scrapped in Nice with all proceeds going in the charity pot!
As well as many other sponsors, Kingdom have sponsored Nigel & co, this is a charity that is very close to everyone’s hearts in Essex so a worth while cause you would agree!
We will be following Nigel’s journey so please keep your eye’s peeled and as to whether it is indeed Monte Carlo or Bust???? Let’s wish him luck!
